Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Refresher
A review of basic and advanced CPR in the dog and cat. 1.17 hours CPD (70 mins) ON DEMAND WEBINAR
Do you know what to do when a patient crashes?
Patient safety is improving year on year but even so, it’s inevitable that at some point we’re going to encounter a patient in cardiopulmonary arrest. Preparation is key to being able to deal with the situation. Louise takes us through the theory and practice of carrying out basic to advanced CPR and provides a visual demonstration showing how to perform CPR on small animal patients, using optimal technique.
Louise provided this course in person for a practice team. The week after their training, the practice had 2 unexpected cases with cardiopulmonary arrest. They said that Louise’s training was invaluable in allowing them to swiftly and confidently perform CPR.
We recommend that you and your team access this course and use it to create your own preparation and plan for any cases of cardiopulmonary arrest in your practice.
